The Grande Halle complex in Lyon comprises two new buildings linked to the existing redeveloped Grande Halle by walkways.
The ensemble operates on the model of the campus – that is, an ensemble forming a unit with continuous, closed circulation, made up of three buildings organised into a succession of interior and exterior spaces.

The most remarkable object is the Grande Halle, which has been entirely renovated to house all services such as the reception hall, shared meeting rooms, the motorcycle and scooter parking area and the company restaurant, directly linked with the north green walkway, offering the possibility of lunching outdoors. It is linked on each side to two buildings with six levels, housing the offices, whose curtain walls and vertical anodised-aluminium sunshades echo the golden-toned stone of the Grande Halle itself.
The project's composition uses building masses that are fractioned horizontally and vertically by gaps that create proportions similar to those of the Grande Halle. These intermittent reductions participate in animating the façades and providing legibility of the volumes of the extensions, and are well suited to housing minor shared services. The second storey, in the form of a shadow gap, provides exterior spaces useable by staff.

Three planted spaces are complemented by two green walkways.
There are many terraces where users can relax outside their work space, in an environment with a strong green presence.
The spaces of the central plaza, created by a distancing screen, support the identity of the Grande Halle and provide the initial contact for visitors. They are prolonged and complemented by a water mirror.
The use of slope effects on the roofs creates a continuity of built masses along the periphery of the operation. The spaces under the slopes house technical equipment whilst providing a harmonious treatment of the “fifth façade”.
