Symbols
The site of the air terminal, the African Renaissance Monument and the Collines des Mamelles lighthouse are the strong points of the broad landscape of the airport.
Seen from the terminal, these familiar places have remained in the memories of the millions of users of the airport for many years now.
To preserve that vision in the future project, we propose the creation of a symbolic axis linking the two existing towers at the African Renaissance Monument.

The green plan
Due to the necessities of its function, this once-wooded territory has become a dry, arid plateau.
For us, creating a 600-ha development here requires a preliminary act to repair this situation while at the same time structuring the future urban plan.
The core of it must be a forest.
The Central Park covering some thirty hectares will be an urban attractor on the scale of the entire capital, like Central Park in New York.

Division of districts
The 597-ha site is divided into seven districts:
Central Park is delimited by Park Avenues North and South and the Parkway to the east.
To the west it will house the commercial and leisure hub.
The valley built around the symbolic axis will be home to the Cité des Affaires.
Four districts – Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast – provide the connections with the project environment. Each of these districts will have its own identity.
The East Runway is the seventh district. Its central part will house the “campus”: university, research, health, etc.
