Clearly identify the location of the new commercial offering, providing an optimal façade line on the square and connections toward the western part of the Mont d'Est district, under the buildings above the platform. Regenerating the RER station exit will involve moving it and giving it clear legibility from the new square and within the shopping area. This ensemble made up of the new square and the new shops is meant to provide a new centrality on the scale of the Mont d'Est district and of the town of Noisy-le-Grand. In the context of our reflection we also worked on conceiving of this square as an east-west axis linking the new bus hub to the east with the western part of the district towards the future "Maille Horizon" operation. This design of this axis will include both the ground level of the future square and the infrastructures to be regenerated. The volumes of the "SK" project will be reused and redesigned as an alternative underground link including the possibility of landscaped emergences. The concept of the project, beyond the architectural programme, includes the ambition of becoming an urban and natural centrality, providing and reinforcing connections at the scale of the district and of the town. The reuse of existing infrastructures and enhancement of their urban and landscape qualities are the vectors of that ambition. Our project is aimed at giving Noisy-le-Grand a new image in keeping with its development and its future identity within the Grand Paris scheme.
